Course Descriptions

Welch Allyn offers technical education courses for Biomedical and Information Technology professionals covering patient monitors, vital signs monitors, and electrocardiographs. These courses are designed for technical personnel who service and support these Welch Allyn products.

Our instructors are Service Technicians with a thorough knowledge of our products. Each Welch Allyn Service Center or Customer Onsite Course includes both lecture, hands-on service training and troubleshooting.

Connex® Spot Monitor (CSM) Service Repair Training

Welch Allyn’s one-and-a-half-day CSM (CSM 7000) monitor course covers complete repair, maintenance and calibration of the CSM. The course includes both lecture and hands-on service training. You will learn essential product configuration, theory of operation, assembly and test details. 

Connex® Vital Signs Monitor (CVSM) Service Repair Training

Welch Allyn’s one-and-a-half-day CVSM (CVSM 6000) monitor course covers complete repair, maintenance and calibration of the CVSM. The course includes both lecture and hands-on service training. You will learn essential product configuration, theory of operation, assembly and test details. 

Connex® Integrated Wall System (CIWS) Service Repair Training

This course is not available as a standalone course, but only as an extension of the CVSM service and repair training!

Welch Allyn’s half-day CIWS (CIWS 8000) monitor course covers the specific procedures for the CIWS as far as they differ from those of the CVSM, mainly concerning disassembly and reassembly. The course includes both lecture and hands-on service training. You will learn essential product configuration, theory of operation, assembly and test details.

Connex® ProBP3400 Service Repair Training

Welch Allyn’s half-day ProBP3400 monitor course covers complete repair, maintenance and calibration of the ProBP. The course includes both lecture and hands-on service training. You will learn essential product configuration, theory of operation, assembly and test details. 

CP50 and CP150 Service Repair Training

Welch Allyn’s one-day CP50 and CP150 Cardiographs course covers complete repair, maintenance and Verification. The course includes both lecture and hands-on service training. You will learn essential product configuration, theory of operation, assembly and test details. 

Basic CardioPerfect® Workstation & Administration Training

This two-day CPWS course delivers instruction, hands-on training on CardioPerfect Workstation installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
The training focusses on stand-alone and small network installations and the modules Resting ECG, ABPM and spirometry

CardioPerfect® Workstation System advanced & network Training

This two-day course is a continuation of the above class, adding in depth network installations, system and SQL Database management and the module Excercise ECG

VSM 300 Series Monitor Service Repair Training
