AED 10 Software Version Verification Guide
Follow the instructions below to verify the software version of your AED10:
Push the green ON/OFF button located at the upper right corner of the Welch Allyn AED 10 next to the large number "1."
Software version will appear approximately 2 seconds after depressing the green ON/OFF button and will display briefly on the lower portion of the AED10 display (see photo)
Power off the AED10 by depressing the green ON/OFF button located at the upper right corner of the Welch Allyn AED 10 next to the large number "1."
Important:
As provided in the User Manual, battery capacity is diminished with every activation or "power up" of the device.
Battery capacity will be reduced if the device is left in a "power on" state.
Avoid frequent device power-ups to check the status of the device. (Remember the device performs automatic self-tests on a weekly and monthly basis; therefore additional power-ups are not required.)
