The "Completing the Picture" educational symposium has been a firm date for clinical and biomedical engineers in the UK for the past six years. This year, Welch Allyn is delighted to extend the invitation to international delegates and welcome our international speaker, Maria Bron-Prenen from The Hospital of Our Beloved Lady in Amsterdam, who is speaking on "Medical Equipment and Infection Control."
The meeting is being held at the famous Silverstone Race Track in Northamptonshire on Thursday 12th June 2008, and attendance at this meeting is free of charge to delegates. This well-respected meeting is sponsored by an educational grant from Welch Allyn and has been accredited by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) in the UK. The meeting will cover a variety of medical and biotechnical issues faced by clinical and biomedical engineers. These issues are commonly found in the workplace but are not normally addressed in training.
